DogTree is a playful Acoustic Music group that performs an ever growing variety of music. There are four members in the band and our instrumentation includes, Fiddle, Guitar, Flute, Whistles and Percussion. We also perform vocal pieces with multiple harmonies weaving in and out. Our sound begins with Celtic and Original music then moves on into World and American Styles.
DogTree has been around for almost two years now.. We are a re-formed group made up of well seasoned veterans from other local bands. Richelle started up the band a couple of years ago for a Ceili (an Irish Party) put together to raise money for the Christine O’Riada School of Irish Dance.
The members of DogTree are: Richelle Basgall - Fiddle/Vocals, Victor Dougherty - Guitar/Vocals, Chris Carr - Flute/Whistles and Rachel Bowerman - Percussion/Vocals. We love making music especially when it is for a good venue, a good cause or both. During our shows we hope that the audience realizes how important they are and enjoys the music as much as we do. We are not just a band playing to a crowd we are all an integral part of the event.
